The beginning of the rest of my LIFE.

You know those moments when you pause and think, Is this really happening? Am I really here? I have those ALL the time. Recently, I have had a lot of changes and opportunities that I felt blessed to have. After spending the summer at Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort, I have learned a few lessons. One of those is do not let anyone put you down. Another thing I learned is to be positive even when everyone around you is not. It was a great experience. There was a lot of things that I know I would not have been able to do had I not been there. I really miss the place, but civilization is good too.
After Ponderosa, school began. It's gonna be a great year, but a hard one. I am taking 12 credits and 2 institute classes. I will be working. I may take more institute classes. I am taking German, Balancing work and family, psychology, rape aggression defense and water aerobics. I really just enjoy being here I love my roommates. I love my friends. I love where I live. I love cooking my own food. It is funny the things you learn to appreciate in life. I love Utah State. I love the life I live and live the life I love.

Oh and here's a hint about being happy, it is really easy. Just remember that no matter what is happening in the world or your life, it could always be worse. So help someone out, their situation may be worse than yours, and helping them could be the thing that will make both of your days :)

NO ONE LIKES A FROWNY FACE, CHANGE IT FOR A SMILE, MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE BY SMILING ALL THE WHILE. :)

It's the little things

Happiness to me is a flower blooming in the sun. Happiness to me is seeing the stars on a clear night. It is a smile on someone's face, a laugh heard down the hall, a balloon, a good talk with a friend, and a silly joke. Happiness is not being rich and famous or strong and smart. It is not fulfilling huge amounts of tasks, or getting an A+ on all of your tests. Sure those things are nice, but what do you do when that fame goes away? Or you go broke? Or you grow old and weak? How about you miss your A+ by a percent? What do you do then? If you learn to find joy in the little things in life, you can learn to be happy no matter what. So take time this week to notice the little things, rejoice in them, and then share them with a friend. Happiness is the most contagious virus on the Earth, so let's spread it! Remember, No one likes a Frowny Face, Change it to a smile! :)

Why Blog?

Recently it has come to my attention that people are just so unhappy with the way things are going in their life, and they complain to others about it. I very much dislike when people are sad, upset, or happy, and I dislike it even more when they complain and try to make other people upset with it as well. Since this is often the case, I decided to write a blog about happiness and joy and how to find it in your life :) I hope you enjoy and that it puts a smile on your face!
